This release came out just before xmas & has been getting some amazing feedback. These latest 2 tracks to be released on my Direct Recordings label are from Drifta, known previously for his release on Hospital Records off shoot Med School.
‘Find Us’ is a big room D&B anthem at its best. Rich textures and hauntingly beautiful vocals draw you in to Drifta’s soundscape, but don’t get too comfortable as the onslaught of dirty bass and pounding drums will quickly let you know that this is not for the faint hearted!
‘Back Up’ is collaboration with a stalwart from the Direct Recordings camp, Oversight. For this outing our man Oversight trades in his trademark musical style for militant beats & jungle sub basslines. Drifta & Oversight combine soulful vocals with enough rough & raw to make and sound system shake.
